So the Soundcore Select 4 Go is a surprisingly affordable micro speaker that gets immpressily loud for its size, its has great clarity and balance at max volume and it has a very long battery life. Overall, the Select 4 Go is a solid pick up… but today we’re going to see how the Soundcore Select 4 Go compares to both the JBL Clip 5 and the JBL Go 4 which are two other great micro speakers that have recently gotten some big upgrades.
So this is the Soundcore Select 4 Go speaker… its a 5 watt speaker that gets impressively loud for its size, it actually sounds really good at max volume and it has a battery life of up to 20 hours. So the JBL Go 4 is a very impressive micro speaker that does a very impressive job of keeping up with the JBL Clip 5. The Go 4 gets impressively loud for it size, it has a decent battery life for its size and it has aura cast. The Go 4 is a solid compact option… and its so impressive is does a great job of keeping up with both the Sony XB100 and the Bose Soundlink micro.
So the new JBL Clip 5 has some very big upgrades on it like Aura cast so you can now pair it to other speakers, it has a longer lasting battery life and it also gets significantly louder than its predecessor. Overall the JBL Clip 5 is a very impressive speaker, and today we’re going to see how the JBL Clip 5 compares to other micro speakers like the super old bose Soundlink Micro and the Sony XB100… its not even close.

So JBL has been very busy lately upgrading all of their speakers, but I actually feel that JBL’s micro speakers like the Clip 5 and Go 4 has gotten the biggest upgrades. They have better battery life, they get louder, and they can now pair to other speakers. But today we’re going to checkout the JBL Go 4 and we’re going to see how it compares to the JBL Clip 5.
So this is the JBL Clip 5, now JBL has been very busy giving their speakers a lot of upgrades… but I think the Clip 5 has gotten the biggest upgrades out of all of JBL’s speakers. So this is the Beats Pill, now I really appreciate the great build quality of this speaker, I love that you can use its USB C port to charge your own devices and it has a long battery life. However, for me it is hard to justify this speaker due to its price to performance ratio. But then theres the Bose Soundlink Flex which is a little older and its price to performance ratio isn’t as good as id want it to be in 2024… but it does sound decent and it has a lot of bass to it. Nonetheless if you’re trying to choose between either of these two speakers, lets see which one is right for you.
