So like I said in the full review I did not see the Sennheiser CX Plus coming… but I am really glad that they are here. For me these are my top pick earbuds if your main priority is sound in this price range. But today we are going to compare the CX Plus to what I feel are their most direct and more popular competitors… the Galaxy Buds 2 and Beats Studio Buds.
So a few weeks ago, Sennheiser announced their new entry level CX earbuds. Now personally I love how these earbuds sound and I even feel that they sound better than the Momentum 2’s because they have much richer bass response. But the CX’s really comprised on features. But out of nowhere Sennheiser announced their new CX plus. And these things have everything that I was asking for on the CX’s.
So the new Galaxy buds 2 are a great upgrade from the Galaxy Buds Plus. They now have active noise cancelation, their ambient mode sounds better, their microphone sounds better, and they sound better as well. However, there are some key changes to look out for on the Galaxy Buds 2 from the Galaxy Buds Plus. But nonetheless the Galaxy Buds 2 are a very solid pair of everyday carry earbuds that you really can’t go wrong with.
So the new Galaxy Buds 2 are a great pair of entry level everyday carry truly wireless earbuds that any android user just can’t go wrong with. However… the Beats Studio Buds, Apple’s Trojan horse to sell earbuds to android users are also very good. And if you’re trying to choose between these two earbuds this is actually a very tough choice. So I’m honestly really excited about this video.
So right now in late 2021, Samsung has a very robust of truly wireless earbuds to choose from. We’ve got the entry level Galaxy Buds 2 which have a very impressive feature stack. There are the Galaxy Buds Live which are a good option for people who don’t like in ear earbuds for long use sessions. And then there are the Galaxy Buds Pro which have the best active noise cancelation here, but more importantly they really sound great. So if you’re trying to choose between any of these earbuds, lets see which ones right for you.
So if you’re looking into getting a pair of Sony earbuds there’s definitely a lot to take into consideration cause they have very different cases, they all fit very differently and they have different feature sets. So the new beats studio buds are a great pair of truly wireless earbuds from apple that give you premium features like Active Noise Cancellation and an ambient mode at a price that makes you wonder… why would you pick up the AirPods Pro or standard AirPods over these if you’re an iPhone user. Well the thing is… these aren’t for iPhone users, they’re apples trojan horse to gain truly wireless earbuds market share from android users. Now don’t get me wrong, if you’re an iPhone user you can make these work, but the studio buds are meant for android users. Nonetheless if you're an iPhone user thinking about getting the Studio Buds over AirPods you should really stick around.
